In 2000, Dave and Daniel Squires got fed up with marketing companies that didn’t understand the trades. So, they started Online Access, Inc., a contractor-first marketing company built by people who once wore the boots.
Our day-to-day leader, Dave, is a licensed HVAC contractor and has a deep understanding of what it takes to run a successful home services business. When demand slows, he shares insights on reducing call-backs, boosting referrals, and improving margins. His experience shaped everything we do, from our website design philosophy to our presence at industry events like Service World and HARDI. His daughter, Colleen Keyworth, has followed in his footsteps. She’s now one of the most recognizable voices in HVAC marketing and serves as a link between our past and the next generation of contractors.
We’ve come a long way from a template-based website company. Today, we help over 500 HVAC, plumbing, and electrical contractors in North America manage their online presence, drive leads, and grow. What began as a family-run operation has grown into a team of over thirty digital marketing experts.
At Online Access, we prioritize responsiveness, efficiency, and honesty. No lengthy contracts. No scare tactics. No inflated PPC budgets. Just a team that cares about contractors and helping them be more visible online.
We include the base items and pages needed to start off on the right foot. All package levels also include domain hosting, email support, complimentary site updates, and 24-hour turnaround on most tasks. The start-up fee covers your custom design, use of our content library, and the creation of custom homepage content.
With most of our competition starting at $2,500 for simple contractor SEO, we stand out. We built our packages to be affordable for the average home service business. We do this by playing smart and focusing on the items that truly move the needle. Our lack of long-term contracts means we work every day to earn the trust of our contractors.

Our mobile-first designs make your site a breeze to use on phones, which is vital, given that over 60 percent of searches start there.
If you need help generating ideas, browse other markets for sites you like. Don’t constrain yourself to contractor web designs either! Below are just a few examples of our recent website designs:
You have complete control over your website and its content. But you don't need to know how to code it. Our support team handles the setup, design, and changes to the website for you. Simply provide the website changes you want made, and we can typically have your changes live in one business day.
Our support team is trained in home services, not just tech. They know the difference between a heat pump and a mini-split. They also understand seasonality and how it impacts your leads.
At Online Access, we don’t believe in locking you into long-term contracts. If you aren’t happy with your home services website from Online Access, you can get 100% of your money back up to 90 days after starting.
This same guarantee also applies to Nearby Now, social media, and PPC management fees.We can absorb this risk because we know the odds. Our average contractor has been with us for over seven years!
We’ve worked in HVAC and plumbing. We know what callbacks, maintenance plans, and shoulder season are. You don’t have to explain your business to us. We already speak your language.
Most contractor website companies take weeks to update your site. Ours don’t. Our US-based support team handles most updates in 24 hours or less.
We focus on what moves the needle: seasonal SEO, local landing pages, and excellent branding. We don't share vanity metrics or force you to sit through monthly meetings. We know busy contractors don’t have time for BS.
We stand behind our products and the performance of our websites for contractors. If you're not satisfied within 90 days, we'll give you your money back. This also applies to most of our products!
We don't force you into a 12 or 24-month contract. The quality of our work should be enough to convince you to stay. Our loyal client base and high percentage of repeat customers are a testament to the value we deliver.
Many website providers claim ownership of your analytics and PPC campaigns. We don’t do that. If it’s yours, you can take it with you when you go. This includes design and homepage content.
With 26 years in the industry, we’ve seen the results of our competition’s work. We’ve also heard plenty of complaints from HVAC, plumbing, and electrical contractors. Many of the same problems keep cropping up. If these quotes sound like you, it’s time to contact Online Access:

I’m tired of waiting weeks for my electrical website company to post a coupon or swap a hero image.
My old contracting marketing partner didn’t know what a callback or maintenance plan was. How can they sell to me if they don’t speak our language?
I need a contractor marketer who earns my business every month. I want to be able to quit if I need to!
I need someone who can show me what’s working for hundreds of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical companies.
It’s fall, and my HVAC company’s leads have slowed to a trickle. I need a digital marketer for contractors who can make recommendations outside of content and PPC.

Yes. We optimize and manage Google Business Profiles for contractors across North America. Our team keeps your business information consistent across the web, posts updates, and monitors reviews to help you rank better in your service area. Local visibility plays a significant role in how we generate leads. We also monitor your listing for bad reviews and potential visibility issues. If something goes wrong, we have a Google Product Expert on staff to remedy it.
Both of our owners, Dave and Dan, grew up in the contracting industry. They know that the trades are filled with amazing, hardworking people. And they believe they deserve a honest website provider that speaks their language. A business that understands people don’t care about their furnace until it stops working on a dreary winter night. We also like supporting the blue-collar work that keeps this country going. As COVID highlighted, the trades are essential to everyday life.
There are a few questions you need to ask yourself. Can someone easily find your phone number? Can they tell what you do at a glance? Is your service area front and center? Are you getting a lot of calls from it? Any contracting website provider should offer robust reporting tools. These will highlight things like phone calls, direction requests, and page visits. It’ll also give you the data you need to determine an ROI.
