$Most contracting companies begin when a technician or plumber who has worked for another decides to strike out on their own. At first, the new contractor wears many hats and has a truck or two. They may grow to a four-person shop with more trucks and a call taker. In time, with more resources for marketing, trucks, and staff, they'll enjoy essential name recognition, perhaps becoming top dog in their market. At Online Access, we have a contractor website package right for every one of these stages.
We believe contractors should understand what they’re paying for and feel confident about who they’re working with. That mindset shapes how our contractor website packages are built and how we support the businesses that use them. Here are a few ways our website packages put contractors first:
One of the biggest complaints we get from contractors who come to us? How complicated and lengthy the typical site start-up process is. We know you’re busy and that you don’t have months to wait for a site to go live. In our 26 years in business we’ve honed our launch process into a well-oiled machine. Here’s an overview of what you’ll experience with Online Access:
It all starts with you picking one of our website packages for contractors. These come bundled with marketing must-haves like social media, email, and call tracking, depending on the level you choose. Our SEO team will run benchmarks to see how your current site ranks.
Our Startup Coordinator will reach out to schedule a meeting with you. In that first meeting, we’ll get some information about your company and desires. A follow-up is scheduled to talk about design. While this is happening, you’ll be using our Customer Hub to provide us with information on your company, services, market, and more.
This is where the foundation for your site is laid. You fill out an About Us form. Then, our content and SEO team draft your home page copy. Our designers take that text and build a digital mockup.
You review the mockup of your home services website. You can request changes to the base design or its content. Those will be completed before we move on to Step Five.
Once you approve your site mockup, our designers will start coding it in css and html. This can take up to two weeks.
Our SEO team goes through the coded site to verify its ability to rank. It’s at this stage that we make optimizations for keywords and page load speed.
You go through the working version of the page and provide any additional feedback. If everything’s all set, we complete our checklists and start staging the launch of your new site.
We make the needed DNS changes to set your new site live. This is the stage where we do citations and run a final post-live audit.
We’ll reach back out a month after the site goes live to make sure things are moving along smoothly. You'll get a monthly website report to your inbox each month. Any edits after this point can be requested via our Customer Support team.
No, but we do offer PPC and Google Local Service ad management a la carte. Our website packages include an audit of existing accounts and our team can help you troubleshoot why a campaign isn’t working or set-up GTM triggers. Many of our staff are Google certified.
Yes. Many contractors use our website packages while continuing to work with outside marketers or SEO agencies. Our websites are structured to serve as a stable foundation that other partners can build on. With your permission, we are happy to administrate content, offers, or other updates they send us for your site.
Every package includes a complete contractor website with core pages like a custom homepage, use of our library service pages, and contact pages. A custom About Us page is also complimentary at all levels. Higher-tier packages—Premier and Signature—include content credits for additional customization.
Our website packages are built to be flexible. Services, messaging, and featured content can be prescheduled to change via a timed management function in our system. This is particularly vital for HVAC contractor and other contractors whose in-demand services change by season.
SEO timelines vary based on location, competition, and consistency. But, typically, you’ll see results in three to four months. Your website package provides the technical and structural foundation for SEO, but results are affected by ongoing optimization and content. Your site should be aligned with and reflect your other marketing efforts.
Unlike DIY website builders—including custom WordPress builds—we offer ongoing support. This means you can focus on running your business and not having to maintain your site and its plugins. Compared to traditional agencies, we offer clearer ownership, simpler pricing, and more flexibility. We focus exclusively on contractor websites, not just any small business sites.
Absolutely. All packages include ongoing support. While you can’t get a free redesign until earned under your package, you can request text or image changes to existing pages at any time. Please note that our library pages cannot be modified, but we will create new pages at no additional cost for content you provide or purchase.
Most updates are handled within 24 hours. Our customers love our fast response times. Getting help is as easy as emailing help@pagepilot.com. Please note that more involved requests such as SEO analysis, reporting calls, and design updates may take a few days to complete.
You have to give 30 days notice of cancellation—just call or email us and we'll send you the form. We don’t lock contractors into long-term contracts or make cancellation difficult. If you are considering changing providers, please give us a call. Many concerns or issues are easily resolved if brought to our attention.
You can move between Essentials, Professional, Premier, and Signature as your business needs change. Many contractors upgrade as their services, service area, or marketing efforts expand. Occasionally, we see downgrades when work is slow and money is tight. Call us to discuss your situation, wants, or needs and we're happy to discuss options.
Yes. Our websites can work with most CRM, FMS, and review systems used by contractors. Popular FMS providers we can integrate via script or api include Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Service Fusion, FieldEdge, Jobber, Breezy, Workiz, Sera, FieldPulse. CRMs include Podium, OnePath, Chiirp, and similar tools used for customer communication. Review widgets that can be incorporated include ReviewBuzz, pulseM, Nearby Now, and Birdeye.
Anything you bring to us is yours to keep. The same is true of any custom content ordered or created specifically for you (your design, and custom homepage and About Us page text are included in all packages.) Our library content cannot be taken with you. Any stock images we provide may need to be licensed separately.
We specialize in contractor and trade-based businesses where services are performed at the client's location. This includes, but is not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and appliance repair.
